These joyful pants are made from a beautiful high-quality cotton fabric woven from a rainbow of richly-coloured threads. The waist is elasticated and the cut is roomy so it will fit a wide range of body shapes, and the generous crotch is suitable for cloth nappy wearers. These really are the most cheerful pants I have ever seen, and I often have people smile and comment on how groovy they are when my son wears them around town. But surely the happiest thing about these pants is the respectful way in which their creators were treated, by giving them fair pay for the fruits of the labours and decent conditions in which to work. For these pants are imported from Guatemala, as part of our Susu Mama World Wear line, and Susu Mama is a BAFTS recognised Fair Trade importer.

Wash care: I have found that these pants are colour-fast and safe to put into a normal machine wash with other coloured garments. However I still recommend that you first soak the pants in salty water and line-dry, and then hand wash for the first few times to double-check the results against your own detergent. I also recommend that you line dry them either turned inside-out or in the shade to help preserve their amazing colours.
